A powder room is also located in this entry level. Saltillo tile floors and charming tile work are featured in the bathroom. A stunning open curved staircase with cantera stone steps leads to three beautiful bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, an open office/reading nook, and a two level private terrace, an ideal location for an afternoon read. The terrace has fabulous views of the downtown churches and the western skyline. A large laundry room is also conveniently located on this level.
San Miguel is a small colonial city that is exquisite in the ease with which it carries its venerable age into the modern world. It is warm and wonderful in the human element, with customs that encourage you to share in the city's daily life
- ARRIVAL FEE for LATE ARRIVALS/SUNDAYS/MEXICAN HOLIDAYS: Please note that there is late-arrival fee of $25 US due upon arrival for arrivals FROM 8pm onward (or before 8am) and on a major holidays and Sundays. * If you are going to be later than your originally planned arrival time (regardless of day/time), please let staff know so we can avoid charging an extra fee. If the rental is more than 30 nights Contract must be signed.
The house is designed for guests, who want to enjoy and experience San Miguel de Allende without the bother of taxicabs or car services.
In case guests need help, the Property Manager can help with anything they need. The Property manager is available by email or telephone and can help you with shuttle arrangements, groceries before arrival or in-home cook services for an extra fee.
Internet Note: Casa Boveda has two WiFi Access Points, one in the second-floor office area and the other in the first-floor television room. These provide good wireless internet via Telemex in the rooms where the routers are located. However, Casa Boveda is a residence, not a commercial/office space, and if renters have commercial/office needs, they should plan accordingly.

December 2024We had a lovely weekend stay. Excellent location just west of the main plaza with several great rooftop restaurants only a block or two away. Property was very well maintained. It was also far more spacious than we expected. We enjoyed spending time on the upstairs roof garden as we would wind down after a day of exploration. Parking can be tricky but we were fortunate to find a lot just around the corner that could accomodate us for 2 nights.
